These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Art Shaastr website, products, services, custom orders, enquiries, purchases and related communication. By accessing the website or placing an order, the user agrees to these terms.

1. Nature of Products
Art Shaastr offers handcrafted Jain art panels, murtis, frames, murals, sculptures and custom sacred creations. Many products are handmade or semi-handmade; minor variations in colour, texture, finish, polish, embossing depth, handmade detailing and natural material grains may occur and are not defects.
2. Product Images and Display
Images, lifestyle visuals, room mockups and wall placement visuals are for reference. Actual product appearance may vary due to lighting, screen brightness, photography, handmade finish and natural material variation.
3. Pricing and Orders
● Prices are listed in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise.
● Prices may vary based on size, material, finish, artwork complexity, customization, packaging and delivery location.
● Placing an order does not automatically mean acceptance by Art Shaastr.
● Art Shaastr may refuse or cancel orders due to incorrect pricing, stock unavailability, incomplete payment, suspicious activity, delivery restrictions or incorrect customer information.
4. Custom Orders
Custom orders are made as per customer-approved size, material, design, colour, finish and specifications. Once approved and production starts, custom orders cannot usually be cancelled, returned or refunded.
5. Customer Approval
Approval through WhatsApp, email, website form or written communication will be treated as valid approval. Changes after approval may attract extra charges and additional timelines and may not always be possible.
6. Payments
Orders may require full advance payment, partial advance payment, milestone-based payment or balance before dispatch. Products will not be dispatched until required payment is received.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Ready-stock products are usually processed within 5-7 working days. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to production, packaging, courier, destination, customs, holidays or force majeure events.
8. Damage in Transit
Transit damage must be reported within 2 days of delivery with an unboxing video, packaging photos, damaged product photos and order details. Without proper proof, damage claims may not be accepted.
9. Installation and Care
Installation is not included unless specifically mentioned. Customers are responsible for wall strength, placement, mounting and proper care. Art Shaastr is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, mishandling, moisture, heat, weak walls or incorrect hardware.
10. Cancellation, Return and Refund
Ready-stock products may be cancelled before dispatch subject to approval. Custom, made-to-order and personalised products cannot be cancelled once production begins and are generally not returnable unless there is a confirmed major defect or valid transit damage claim.
11. Intellectual Property
All website content, images, artwork, designs, product names, mockups, logos, videos, text, layout and brand identity belong to Art Shaastr. No person may copy, download, reproduce, sell, modify or use the content without written permission.
12. Custom Design Ownership
Designs created by Art Shaastr remain the intellectual property of Art Shaastr unless agreed in writing. Product photos of completed work may be used for portfolio, website, catalogue, social media or marketing unless confidentiality is requested before order confirmation.
13. Religious and Cultural Sensitivity
Art Shaastr creates products with respect for Jain traditions and sacred themes. Any placement, direction, vastu or spiritual guidance shared is general guidance only. Customers should consult their religious advisor, family guru, temple authority or vastu expert for strict compliance.
14. Website Usage
Users agree not to misuse the website, attempt hacking, copy content, scrape data/images, place fraudulent orders, use false identity, interfere with operations or upload harmful, abusive, defamatory or illegal content.
15. Privacy and User Content
User data will be handled as per the Privacy Policy. Customer reviews, photos, videos or testimonials voluntarily shared may be used by Art Shaastr for website, catalogue, social media and marketing unless agreed otherwise.
16. Limitation of Liability
Art Shaastr shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, emotional or consequential losses. Total liability, where legally applicable, will not exceed the amount paid for the specific product.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, subject to applicable law.
