1. Introduction
This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all Art Shaastr orders placed through the website, WhatsApp, phone, email, social media, exhibitions, or direct order confirmation. Products may include handcrafted Jain art panels, frames, murtis, murals, sculptures, sacred creations, and custom-made artwork.
2. Delivery Locations
● We ship across India where courier or logistics service is available.
● International shipping may be available for selected products and destinations on request.
● Delivery availability depends on product size, weight, material, fragility, packaging requirement, courier serviceability, and destination.
3. Order Processing Time
● Ready-stock products are usually processed within 5-7 working days after payment and order confirmation.
● Made-to-order and custom products require additional production time depending on design, size, material, and finish.
● Dispatch timelines will be shared before order confirmation wherever possible.
4. Estimated Delivery Timeline
● Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed deadlines.
● Delivery time may depend on product availability, production time, artwork complexity, packaging time, courier partner, destination, weather, holidays, strikes, transport restrictions, or operational issues.
● Art Shaastr is not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, customs, local restrictions, natural events, or events beyond reasonable control.
5. Shipping Charges
● Shipping charges may vary based on product size, weight, material, packaging type, delivery location, insurance requirement, and logistics method.
● Shipping charges will be communicated before order confirmation or at checkout.
● For large, heavy, fragile, or premium pieces, special packing or wooden crate charges may apply.
6. Packaging
● Art Shaastr uses protective packaging suitable for fragile handcrafted products.
● Packaging may include bubble wrap, foam sheets, corner guards, corrugated boxes, wooden crates, fragile labels, and product-specific support packaging.
● Packaging design may differ based on product size, material, route, and delivery mode.
7. Delivery Inspection
● Customers should inspect the parcel at the time of delivery.
● If the outer package looks damaged, customers should take photos before opening.
● Customers should record an unboxing video before and during opening, especially for fragile, premium, glass, marble, resin, frame, or custom products.
● Customers should keep all outer and inner packaging until the product is fully inspected.
8. Transit Damage
● Transit damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
● Required proof includes a clear unboxing video, photos of outer packaging, photos of inner packaging, photos of damaged product, order number, and delivery details.
● Without proper proof, damage claims may not be accepted.
● Resolution may include repair support, replacement, partial compensation, store credit, courier claim assistance, or other suitable remedy depending on the product type, damage nature, courier report, and insurance terms.
9. Failed Delivery or Re-Delivery
● Delivery may fail due to incorrect address, customer unavailability, unreachable phone number, refusal to accept delivery, restricted area, or courier limitations.
● Re-shipping, re-delivery, storage, or return-to-origin charges may be payable by the customer.
● Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.
10. International Shipping
● International shipping is available only for selected products and destinations on request.
● Customs duty, import tax, local charges, documentation charges, destination country fees, or any statutory levy will be payable by the customer unless agreed otherwise in writing.
● Delivery timelines may vary due to customs clearance, international courier operations, and local regulations.
● Art Shaastr is not responsible for customs delays, import restrictions, or destination country requirements.
11. Installation
● Installation is not included unless specifically mentioned in the quotation or order confirmation.
● Customers must arrange suitable local installation support for wall-mounted, heavy, glass, marble, or large-format products.
● Art Shaastr may provide general placement or mounting guidance, but final installation responsibility remains with the customer.
