1. Introduction

Art Shaastr offers custom Jain art panels, murtis, frames, murals, sculptures, and sacred creations. This policy explains how custom orders are discussed, approved, produced, changed, cancelled, dispatched, and protected.


2. What Counts as a Custom Order

● Custom size.

● Custom colour.

● Custom material.

● Custom finish.

● Custom frame or base.

● Custom religious layout.

● Custom wall size or placement requirement.

● Custom name plate.

● Custom lighting suggestion.

● Custom artwork reference or bespoke design direction.

● Any product made, modified, or sourced based on a customer request.


3. Custom Order Process

1. Requirement discussion.

2. Size and placement understanding.

3. Material and finish selection.

4. Price quotation.

5. Advance payment.

6. Design/reference confirmation.

7. Production.

8. Quality check.

9. Final confirmation where applicable.

10. Packing and dispatch.


4. Customer Approval

● Customer approval may be taken through WhatsApp, email, website form, invoice confirmation, quotation confirmation, or written message.

● Approval of size, material, design direction, finish, quotation, or production reference will be treated as valid approval.

● Once approved, production may begin.


5. Changes After Approval

● Minor changes may be accepted only before production starts.

● Changes after production begins may not be possible.

● If changes are possible, extra charges and additional time may apply.

● Major design, size, material, or finish changes after approval may be treated as a new quotation or new order.


6. Advance Payment and Balance Payment

● Custom orders require advance payment.

● The required advance amount will be communicated before order confirmation.

● Production begins only after required payment is received.

● Balance payment, if applicable, must be cleared before dispatch or delivery.


7. Timeline

● Custom order timelines depend on size, material, design complexity, artisan availability, finish type, drying/curing time, packaging requirement, and delivery location.

● Timelines are estimates and may vary.

● Art Shaastr will make reasonable efforts to keep the customer informed about important production or delivery updates.


8. No Cancellation After Production

● Once production begins, custom orders cannot be cancelled.

● Advance payment may be non-refundable where material, design, labour, or production costs have already been incurred.

● If the customer stops responding after approval or production, Art Shaastr may hold or cancel further work after reasonable attempts to contact the customer.


9. Handmade Variation

● Custom products are handmade or semi-handmade.

● Minor variations in finish, texture, colour, detailing, polish, embossing depth, and natural material grains may occur.

● Such variations are natural in handcrafted work and are not defects.


10. Intellectual Property and Design Ownership

● Custom designs, concepts, artwork layouts, mockups, product photos, and design interpretations created by Art Shaastr remain the intellectual property of Art Shaastr unless agreed otherwise in writing.

● Customer references are used for understanding preferences and direction.

● Art Shaastr may refuse any request that involves copying copyrighted artwork, temple designs, artist works, competitor products, or legally restricted designs.

● Art Shaastr may use completed product photos for the website, catalogue, social media, exhibitions, advertising, and portfolio unless confidentiality is requested in writing before order confirmation.


11. Religious and Cultural Sensitivity

● Art Shaastr works with respect for all traditions and sacred themes.

● Customers should confirm their own family, sect, temple, guru, vastu, or religious preferences before approval.

● Any guidance from Art Shaastr is general and should not replace advice from religious authorities.


12. Final Dispatch

● Final product photos may be shared before dispatch where possible.

● Packing and dispatch will happen after internal quality check and required payment clearance.

● Shipping and delivery will follow the Shipping & Delivery Policy.
